Hi!

We just bought Spine and we are very pleased with it :D

Our animators use Adobe Flash for animations, and now they have to learn Spine (not saying that it's difficult, but there's always an aversion to new things :P).
I was wondering if they could just generate an SWF animation file or use de .FLA project file, and then import it on Spine in order to process the animation, adapt, or export to Unity.

Yup... somewhat like an SWF importer for Unity.

Maybe something like this could be done. Spine can import the JSON format, so you just need to get the Flash data into that format. There are many features planned before we could get to this though.

Thanks for the quick reply! :)

Do you mean like using swiffy? https://www.google.com/doubleclick/studio/swiffy/

I think in the long run it's better to spend a little time learning Spine. With the upcoming planned features it should make the transition smoother as well. The few flash animators I know are happy they made the transition at least :)
