Duplicating linked meshes to another skin
Sorry about the constant questions, and this one may be dumb.
To start, I have two skins in this project, girlA and girlB.
So I have made a mesh for one of the legs of girlA, binded, weighted it etc.
However, as the legs of girlB are very similar, and to save time weighting it all over again. I want to link the meshes of the legs across the skins.
How can I do this? I tried making a linked mesh from the original girlA leg, replaced the image of that to be girlB's leg...but how do I get it to move into the skin of girlB?
Thanks!
After you make the linked mesh, make girlB
the active skin, then move the linked mesh under the skin placeholder.
Thank you Nate! Was having difficulties as the meshes were in the skin placeholder and disappearing when I switched skins, but I moved them out of the coat hangers and was a lot easier after that, thank you.
Thank you Nate, that is super helpful! Will remember this
