  • Request global_offse/motion_trail/bookmarks/animation layers for Spine

Hi!, When I'm animating, I miss a feature global_offset that Harmony, Maya or Blender have, and that is being able to adjust some selected frames already animated and give them another position (example attached: https://animbot.ca/tooltips/en/#global_offset).
For Onionskin it would be great to have the function of motion trail tracking by means of a line, and focusing on some point of the object, it is more efficient to adjust trajectories compared to green and red shapes (example attached: https://animbot.ca/tooltips/en/#motion_trail_style), I know that you can adjust a point as an image, but there is nothing better that comes by default.
In the timeline I usually use bookmarks in animation software like Harmony or Maya, this is useful to have a guide when one action ends and when another ends (example attached: https://animbot.ca/tooltips/en/#time_bookmarks_visibility).
It would also be good to implement animation layers, which would allow, once our animation has been created, to be able to manipulate the keys through said layers, which would allow us to add more animation without damaging the current animation.

Thanks for your time!

The features you are requesting, such as global offset, motion trails, bookmarks, and animation layers, are not currently available in Spine as you described them. However, there are some related discussions and feature requests that have been noted by the Spine team. For example, there is a request for a non-destructive offset for secondary motion, which might relate to your global offset need. You can find more about this in the GitHub issue here. Motion trails have also been requested, and you can follow the discussion here. As for bookmarks, there is an idea to add timeline markers, which you can see here. Lastly, while animation layers are not directly supported, there are plans to improve the Preview view to allow for more complex animation editing, which might offer similar functionality in the future. You can follow the progress on this feature here.
