Krita 4.0 has been released, indeed we need a Spine plugin. Krita becoming quite popular it seems, it's a good program that focuses on the artist rather than pixel pounders.

This thread has gotten a lot of views in just two months, there are many others wishing this.

Tell you what, do the plugin and I'll upgrade my artists to professional license, as we no longer will need to go through Photoshop.

Krita is my personal favorite and in my opinion the best. The developers are hardworking knowledgeable individuals and in some aspects this software is even better than photoshop. This program was designed with 100% of painters in mind. It’s been used by profesional artist as a serious alternative for photoshop and it has every tool you could possibly need and even more!

I'm use Krita with my Drawing tablet , and it works great, no issues.
