Just wanted to throw props and my thanks to Huan for bashing out some awesome characters for me! Was my first real experience outsourcing for a personal project and he made it really easy to get exactly what I wanted back. All work was delivered as PSD perfectly broken into the layers I needed to export straight into Spine and start animating. Occasionally some changes needed to be made to the structure of a character to accommodate quirks in animation that I didn't foresee and Huan was very open to figuring it all out with me and very active in contributing advice and feedback to me as well! I learned a ton. His creativity is excellent as well, he didn't just draw these, he designed them based on generally slim instructions from me and we got a consistent style going quickly. Breaking work into sets worked really well too (at Huan's advice) IE... Soldier Character Base is a set, Alternate Heads/Accessories/Facial Exprssions for Soldier Character is another set.

On my end of things...holy crap shoulder animation is hard when there are overlapping muscular lines >.> Almost made me want to stick to just writing code.... wait just kidding, I'm using Spine, this was pretty easy since Huan effortlessly included a seamlessly painted portion of the Chest in the Shoulder region so I could FFD my way out of the problem.
