Hello, I'm a hobby programmer in Austria and I recently have started learning Unity.to create some games 🙂
When I was looking for a way to create and implement animations into a unity game, I found Spine. I watched the youtube trailer, and the animation looks so smooth (I love smooth animations..) so I bought it. Then, I realised I can't actually draw.

Nor do I have money do pay an animator / illustrator who creates custom art for me.
.I tried to create spine skeletons using a picture but it turned out to be impossible, as the pixels behind the arms are missing.

I recently bought a character sprite sheet for about $6 to use it in Spine. It doesn't have any bones and since it's a sprite based animation, not smoothly at all..

So, is there a way to find graphics for a spine animation cheap?

Thank you

If you're looking for someone to do work for free, try reddit. I'll say this though: Since you are working with pixel art, all you really have to do is take the segments you're looking for and fill in the rest the best you can. The usual workflow when making a set of parts from a static image (at least for me) is to take the master, mask out everything you aren't using, then fill in the gaps and save the part.

You might have a hard time finding anything non- generic on the cheap. Artists need cash to survive too.
