AssafHayut Hello again, Been having a few issues with Spine on my new Mac and was wondering if there might be any connection issues with Mac's new OS? this is the latest issue. but as i reported before opening few instances doesnt work either.
Misaki AssafHayut Are you using an older version of the Spine editor? Spine versions from 4.0 onward run natively on Apple Silicon. Older versions need to go through Rosetta 2 as they do not share the redesigned architecture of our 4.x line of Spine. Please visit Apple's support page for Rosetta installation instructions: https://support.apple.com/en-us/102527
Nate If you are running the Intel version of Spine on an ARM Mac then you will need Rosetta. There should have been a prompt to install Rosetta. However, you should use the ARM version of Spine instead.
AssafHayut Misaki i am running 4.2.18 spine on an Apple silicon. when trying to export im get a prompt saying i need rosetta like the pic above shows, but it doesnt give me any links to install. where might i find this rosetta?
Nate Rosetta is provided by Apple, but you don't need it for Spine. Instead, go to your Spine license page and download the Apple Silicon version of Spine.
Nate You should only see a message about Rosetta if running the Mac Intel version of Spine. Please try to perform an export then post your spine.log.
