[Test Environment: Unity6, AOS, Spine 4.1]
We did not encounter any issues when building Spine 4.1 data in the Unity6 Android environment, but we noticed on the forums that Unity6 does not fully support it yet. If there are no issues during build testing, would it be acceptable to use it as is? Additionally, I am curious if there is a significant difference in stability between Spine 4.1 and Spine 4.2 when used in Unity6. If there were no issues with Spine 4.1, is there a need to upgrade to 4.2?
Hello, I am reaching out with an inquiry regarding the use of Spine in Unity6.
Currently, there is no official support for Unity6 with Spine runtimes, as the latest officially supported Unity version is 2023.1 for Spine 4.1 and 4.2. If you have not encountered any issues during your build testing with Spine 4.1 in Unity6, you may continue using it, but be aware that any potential issues might not be addressed by official support. Regarding stability, upgrading to Spine 4.2 could provide additional bug fixes and improvements, but if Spine 4.1 is working well for your project, an upgrade may not be necessary unless you encounter specific issues that are resolved in the newer version.

Note that there were a few bugfixes regarding Unity 6 on the 4.2 branch like this one:

You will in general be missing several general bugfixes when using spine-unity 4.1, and as Spinebot mentioned, there will be no new Unity 6 bugfixes published on the 4.1 branch.
