  • spine renderer resolution down issue

I am always grateful for the spin team.
But this time, we had a little problem with our game.

I have a problem with lower resolution of Spine Lenderer, there is no way to know if it is an option issue on Unreal's side or a problem with Spine Plugin itself.

The Spine plug-in was created by referring to the following video,

It seems like you are experiencing a resolution issue with the Spine renderer in Unreal Engine. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

    1. Check Texture Packing Settings: Ensure that the images are packed at the correct scale. You can refer to the Spine Texture Packer Settings to verify the scale value.

    2. Preview in Spine: Use the Preview section in Spine to check if the skeleton has been exported and imported correctly. You can adjust the zoom level in the Preview section to inspect the resolution closely. More details can be found here.

    3. Unreal Engine Settings: Verify the settings in Unreal Engine to ensure that the texture quality is not being reduced automatically. This can sometimes happen during the import process.

    4. Update Spine Plugin: Make sure you are using the latest version of the Spine plugin for Unreal Engine. Sometimes, issues are resolved in newer versions.

    5. Minimal Reproduction Project: If the issue persists, create a minimal reproduction project that demonstrates the problem. This can help in isolating the issue and determining whether it is related to the Spine plugin or Unreal Engine settings.

If you have already checked these and the issue persists, it might be helpful to share a minimal project that reproduces the issue for further investigation.

SeungJMin Unfortunately, the problem is not clear from this screenshot alone, so it would be better if you could provide us with a minimal project that can reproduce the problem, as Spinebot has already responded. Could you please send it to us?: contact@esotericsoftware.com
