If there's no any BETA word behind the version title, does that mean it will be the steady version from now and then?
Help! Spine version confirmation
Yes, if a Spine version does not have the word "BETA" in its title, it is considered a stable release. Stable releases are versions that do not end with -beta
, such as 3.8.99
for the Spine editor and 3.8
for the Spine Runtimes. These versions do not include risky changes and are mainly updated to fix bugs, ensuring a more reliable experience without introducing new problems.

So just to confirm, if the Spine version doesn't have the word Beta in the title, does it mean that this version will always be available for download?
This is mostly true, but to be precise, we might make early patch versions, such as 4.2.00, non-downloadable, since patch version updates are always safe and the latest patch version should be used.
Misaki I will use Spine resources with Unity, the number of Spine resources is very high, after updating the plugin with a version that is not compatible with the old version of resources, it will be very time consuming to update all the resources. Is there a quick way to batch update Spine files if it's not possible to stabilise the patch version?
