  • Changing slot for skinned attachments

Hi there! I am cleaning up a rig that someone else did, and I'm trying to put multiple attachments that are skinned under one slot, since all of them have separate slots. For example I want to move the "Right Arm 3" to the "Hand" slot, and when I do so, everything kind of breaks, the attachments break out of their slots. I never had this issue before. TIA

    PodwojneD Hmmm, I can't reproduce your problem as far as I have tried with editor 4.1.24. I recorded a video to clarify:

    Is it correct that what you want to do is what I do in the video above?

      PodwojneD Oh, I have missed that the mesh attachment is a linked mesh. Linked meshes must always be under the same slot as the source mesh. Moving the source mesh or any linked mesh to another slot will cause all the others to also be moved. If you want to move only that mesh attachment, unlink it first and then change the slot.
