  • Json file scattered in Unity

Hi all,
I am having a problem when exporting to Unity, the objects are scattered everywhere when imported from the json file

Currently using Unity version 3.0 and spine 4.0.64. I have not ticked the Strip Whitespace X and Y.

Here's how it looks now:

Here's the settings in Unity

Any idea how to fix this?

ericbdg@gmail.com Could you please check to see if this is the case starting at 05:56 in our video on import troubleshooting?:

You attached a screenshot of your SpineSettings, but in most cases telling us which component (SkeletonAnimation, SkeletonGraphic, or SkeletonMecanim) you are using, state of current component settings, and the material settings resulting from the import process should be more important. If the video above does not solve your problem, please provide us with that information.

ericbdg@gmail.com Currently using Unity version 3.0 and spine 4.0.64.

Could you please describe what you meant by "Unity version 3.0"? If you mean the version of the spine-unity runtime, then it will for sure not be compatible with assets exported from the Spine Editor version 4.0.64. If you mean the version of the Unity Editor, I assume you were missing the first part of the version number?

Please note that the "Version" field in the export options of the Spine Editor is for importing a project in an older Spine Editor version (and then re-exporting it from e.g. Spine Editor version 3.8.x), not for runtime use.

Which version of the spine-unity runtime are you using? If you're not using the latest available unitypackage from the download page, please have a try whether updating the runtime resolves your issue. As always, back up your project first to be on the safe side.

    Hi @Harald and @Misaki
I am sorry for the late reply. It turns out it was from the developer's side, wrong import settings. All is settled now.

Thank you for the help. Again, I am sorry for the delay in responding.

    Best,

    Erick S.
