Adjusting Weights Request for Change
Spine 1.8.25 (pro)
I don't find the weights very user friendly in their current state.
Example 1
- I bind the bones to the weights.
- Overlay is turned off.
- I adjust a weight and I can't see nothing happening, apart from the circle changing.
What I would like to see is what you currently have when overlay is turned on (a dark box and individual weight colours).
Example 2
- I bind the bones to the weights.
- Overlay is turned on.
- I adjust a weight and see a dark box and individual weight colour.
What I would like to see is the complete overlay, which you can only see if you click off the weight or hit bind again.

Not able to go into detail yet, but you can expect lots of improvement to Skinning. We wanted to get this version of it out before we head to A MAZE.

When the overlay is on, black is used for unselected vertices because if all colors are used (as is done when no vertices are selected) then it is hard to see the influence of the selected vertices, especially when the influence is low.
Example 1, I'm not sure we want to always show the overlay. The Overlay
checkbox is intended so you can adjust weights without the overlay getting in the way, allowing you to see the mesh texture.
Example 2, I agree it may be useful to not use black for unselected vertices, which is currently not possible. Maybe a Selected
checkbox? When checked, black is used for unselected vertices (current behavior) otherwise you get all vertices when Overlay
is checked.
Done in 1.8.28!
