Hey hey my partner and I took a look at your Behance and really liked what we saw. Could you answer the following questions below for us to give us a better idea of what is necessary to potentially begin?

    • What pose do you need the characters to be in before we send them to you? Is there a specific pose they need to be in?
    • Do we send them to you pre-sliced up or as is?
    • What do you need from us to start animating?
    • What are the final deliverables?
    • How long on average does it take to animate a character?
    • How much do you charge per hour?

Thanks so much in advance!

Greetings,

  1. It depends, but usually can just send me a idle pose. A default pose, then I can animate them in spine and come out with different pose.
  2. Yes, if you sliced it up and send me, it could save a lot of time. If you didn't, I can do the slicing too.
  3. I need the sliced images for me to put in Spine, it is better if you send me the raw files too, in case I need something else from it. List of animation required for me to animate, for example jump, walk or some unique animation you mentioned before. It is better to confirm the size of the character/images. If you wanted to change the size in the future, it will need some time for resizing.
  4. Final deliverables will be spine files, atlas, png, skeleton data files or json files.
  5. It depends on the complexity of the character, if it is simple, it can be done in one day. Because if the character has a lot of part, for example like belt, hat, necklace, it might take longer time.
  6. I think it will be better if I charge per character instead of per hour will be easier for us.

Sorry for the timeline between now and the last message. My partner and I have been going over the details for the animation and had a few more questions.

  1. Would you have a problem with signing a Non Disclosure Agreement before doing the work?

  2. How soon can you start doing the work?

  3. The animation work we would like done is a run and a jump of a small girl (humanoid). We want you to have full creative freedom for the two animations so you can have fun with it in this initial round. Would it be possible to have this work done by December 27th or January 1st?

  4. To complete the animations above can you give us a price estimate? A estimate for with and without splicing of character would be great if possible.

  5. Lastly do you already have a Spine2D license or would we need to provide one for you? Do you need a pro license?

Thanks so much in advance!
