Spine to After Effects
We are creating youtube videos in after effects and using spine animations. Currently We have 2 options which support after effects.
Option 1) Export Animation into PNG sequences
Option 2) Export Transparent Move File
In above both options file size will reach to GB because we have good quality of animations and length.
I want to run Spine json or binary inside after effects for fix this file size issue.
As we know spine is far better than adobe animator and toonboom. If we import spine animations into after effects with json or binary format then it will become revolutionary change in 2d animation industry.
If you guys provide any plugin for after effects or something to run spine json animation in after effects than user can quickly migrate adobe animator and toon boom to spine.
Why am I telling this?
Reason 1) We are growing youtube channel and we have this file size issue so I want spine to after effects solution
Reason 2) We are using spine since last 5 years and emotionally attached with spine. Because we did great things with spine.
Thanks
We are currently working on improving out video export functionality with more codecs and container formats that allow better compression, including ProRes support. This should help with the file size issue to some degree.
I agree that an after effects plugin would be better. However, that's a much more complex endevour that we currently don't have the resources for to tackle.
Hello May I know when we expect ProRes with Alpha support?
Hi, ProRes support has been added since 4.1.21-beta. Checking Transparent
allows you to export with alpha.
Thank you. I hope in future we get after effects plugin software from you guys.
