  • png sequence export

Hi, I found a bug possibly. This is version 4.0.55 but I did try with another 4.0 yesterday with the same results
Basically if I try exporting a png sequence, it adds up the frames on each image instead of rendering an image per frame. It does the same if I try to render frames as PSD layers.
Here's a simple test example I just saved:

I did these kind of exports a thousand times in older versions with various combinations of skins, animations, whatever, so I doubt I'm screwing up some setting, though I'm open to any tip
Thanks!

Hello, I tested this with Spineboy and Mix-and-match and could not reproduce the issue.
Could you please send us the problematic project at contact@esotericsoftware.com so we can try to reproduce what you're experiencing?

Strange, I just reproduced it with this brand new project with only one bone and that banana texture
Will send though

btw, I get the same result with spineboy, just downloaded

Thank you for trying it with Spineboy. However, we were still unable to reproduce the problem even if set the same settings as shown in your attached screenshot. We would like to know more about your PC operating environment, so could you please send me your spine.log file via email?: contact@esotericsoftware.com

If you don't know where the spine.log file is, please see our troubleshooting: Spine Troubleshooting

sent, thank you!

Sorry for the delay in response! Thank you for sending your spine.log file. We have received it, and we would appreciate it if you would allow us a few days to investigate.

Hey Misaki, sorry for the delay on my side as well.
After some uninstalling and reinstalling after wiping everything, it now exports correctly. I wonder what that was.
Thank you for your prompt support as usual!

Sorry for chiming in late here. Your log didn't really say much to the effect of why the export was faulty. I did however see that you were using an NVIDIA drivers version from May 2021. Did you by any chance also install new graphic card drivers?

Do you mean now? Not manually for sure
edit: no, it doesn't look like the driver was updated

I finally managed to crack this mystery. To repro you need Color Management enabled with Linear blending. We'll get it fixed in 4.0.56!

oh! this may help with something else I was noticing then. After reinstalling I was noticing some jagged lines in the image exports and meant to troubleshoot that soon too. So probably I need that linear blending enabled
Anyway, thank you so much for looking into it!
