Sorry, it would be very difficult for technical reasons. The reasons that allow us to develop very quickly also make it very difficult to support creating project files that older versions of Spine can open. Also, a number of big, new features in v4, like the way curves are described, don't exist at all in 3.8, so it would not be possible to make 3.8 display the animation in the same way.
