I have an issue with the skins. Let me explain what i need to do. I have a character, an alchemist, who need to be transformed, for example, in an alchemist with a cat head, or a sasquatch head etc…So the transformations needs 90% of the assets of the alchemist (most of are the body assets) and 10 % of other assets (which are the head assets of the cat and sasquatch)
FYI, I use skin attachment to deal with the different positions of the assets (like eyes open, eyes closed etc…).
So… Here is the way I wanted to work. Create a first skin of the complete alchemist, then duplicate this skin as much as i need to have a base to create the other cat head version, sasquatch head version etc… In this way, I justed had to replace 10% of the character with other assets, in each skin attachment concerned.
So i started to work on that and had a big problem : I duplicate the skin of the alchemist. rename it in cat head alchemist. I drag out a first asset of a skin attachment (alchemist eye open), to drag another asset in (cat eye open). I continue like that with the other skin attachments of the head. So it's ok with the cat head alchemist skin. I duplicate the alchemist, rename it in "sasquatch head alchemist, And, when i want to drag out the asset of the alchemist eye open, it's impossible. The slot attachment seems to be unusable. It seems to be a direct consequence of what i did before.
So when I drag out an image of a skin attachment, this skin seems to be locked the next time I want to modify. I have this issue only when I duplicate a skin.
Maybe my explanation is hard to understand, but it's a very specific issue. Maybe it's not a bug, but a kind of technical limitation, or maybe i am just using an uncorrect method. So i just want to know if there is any way to fix this, or any other way to obtain the same result..
