warmanw CHeck out new video I have released, something can be useful for you. Let me know if you want something related to the Spine Editor be covered in my next videos.
Nate Nice video! It may be a bit hard for some people to digest due to the length of the video, but the information is good and it's a big topic with a lot to cover. I like to drop some relevant tips but you're making it harder and harder to come up with new ones. :p Here's one though: you can do "loop selection" by holding shift and clicking a mesh edge. That will select all connected vertices up until a vertex is encountered that has more than 2 edges. For example at 24:33 it would allow you to quickly select an entire "depth ring" of vertices. Sometimes it can be convenient to add some internal (orange) edges solely to make it easier to use loop selection.
warmanw Oh super nice trick thank you, Like in 3D softs, selecting a loop ring. Making videos just to hear more tricks 😃 Also Yes I really try to make videos less than 10min, this was an experimental, Lets see if people watch it to the end. By the way here are more videos Explaining my previous Rigs
Nate Wow you are building quite a collection! It would be cool if we had a place on our site to highlight you videos and others from the Spine community. We'll see what we can do!
warmanw By the way was thinking what to put in the description of the videos. Any suggestions? What links can be useful for spine animators? Should i put discord channel link? Or may get too crowded
Nate Not sure, can put anything you like! For faux 3D might be helpful to link the mesh blog post trio: Blog: Mesh creation tips: vertex placement Blog: A taxonomy of meshes Blog: Mesh weight workflows FWIW, Discord can never get too crowded. The main starting point is Spine Academy. We just added the quickstart page!
