I have my script in the correct folder for CS6 and find it in my script-to-run menu in Photoshop. On clicking the script, PS vomits up an error message:
Error 22: Window does not have a constructor
Line: 387
-> var dialog = new Window("dialog", "PhotoshopToSpine v" +
scriptVersion), group;

OK

It doesn't like something on or near to Line 387. What should I do?

This has been reported before, but seems to be a Photoshop problem, eg:
LayersToPNG.jsx Error exporting from Photoshop
You can try resetting Photoshop preferences, mentioned there. What OS are you using?

Window is a built-in part of Photoshop. If Photoshop complains it doesn't exist (the message Window does not have a constructor) then it seems something is very wrong with the Photoshop installation.

Fooey. This version of CS6 has given me nothing but trouble since I built this PC. However, I also started having a lot more trouble when I briefly tried the new Photoshop-but-as-a-live-service system. Adobe cloud was a monster that caused so many crashes that I gave up and went back to my solo copy of CS6 Photoshop.
I am still running windows 8 for now. Pretty angry at what Win 10 has become and not entirely interested in upgrading yet. Maybe it expects the rest of the Adobe creative suite to be installed too? I hardly use Illustrator anymore and actually built all my assets in Clipstudio Paint. (Which I actually use over SAI now).
Sheesh. I don't have the interest in putting the rest of the Creative Suite back on or replacing the Adobe cloud folder I ripped out to get my crashes to stop. I am shortly to build a new computer so, with a fresh install of my OS and CS6, maybe this will iron out. Guess I will just have to build my puppets within Spine. Too bad for me. :(
Thanks for parsing this out. I bet I did this when I had to gut my adobe folders and now it's looking for something small that's been shredded.

Sorry. You might try resetting PS preferences or reinstalling CS6. CS2 is widely available, though apparently not from Adobe, and might actually work better.

We'd like to support a way to bring in images in the right place without Photoshop, but it's still a way off.
