Hey, I've recently pulled up my old windows monogame project that I was running through vs2015 and I can't get it to work. I've gotten the project to work in a cross platform monogame project with openGL and an old version of spine but the blending was all messed up and performance was slow. I'd prefer to run a windows project.
Months ago it was working on vs2015 but I've upgrade to vs2017 and upgrade my spine version and now it doesn't work. I get this exception:
"Error reading atlas file: Content/Background/Background.atlas"
With 3 inner exceptions
"Exception: Error reading texture file: Content\Background\Background.png" (So it found it?)
"InvalidOperationException: This image format is not supported"
"SharpDXException: HRESULT: [0x80070057], Module: [General], ApiCode: [E_INVALIDARG/Invalid Arguments], Message: The parameter is incorrect."
Is there something wrong with my SharpDX? I've also tried it with my old version of spine just in case and it still doesn't work. The only thing I did differently was add this line to the post build events: "XCOPY "$(SolutionDir)Project\Content\Spine Files" "$(TargetDir)\Content\" /S /Y" so I could copy all my spine content into bin. Before I added every file to the vs project and went through all of them changing the combo box to "Content" and "Copy if newer". I checked bin and it is there. The inner exception seems to suggest it was found but not read in?
