Lighting is not working when flipping the character in URP shader.

Your video at time 0:18 shows some strange settings at the Fixed Normal Direction View Space, it's set to 0.5, 0.5, 1.0. Are you intentionally setting it to an oblique fixed angle, or did you misunderstand the normalization as 0.5 being in the center? Normally you would set it to 0, 0, 1 to point straight into the camera.

In general, please also provide screenshots of your Material settings, as a video with suddenly scrolling Inspector settings makes things harder than they have to be.

Hey Harald,

Thank you for reaching back.
It may be the case though. When not on URP using this setup worked fine in the lighting interaction.
I`ve tested the other options:

View-Space : 0,0,-1
View-Space : 0,0,1
(Adjust Backface Tangents check and unchecked)

Model-Space : 0,0,-1
Model-Space : 0,0,1
(Adjust Backface Tangents check and unchecked)

Wold-Space : 0,0,-1
Wold-Space : 0,0,1
Force unckeck to Adjust Backface Tangents.


The Advancet settings have the required checkings. Really dunno what`s missing here.
If you have a direction to share would be great.

Sorry to hear that your problem persists! Unfortunately, I can see nothing obviously wrong with your component and material settings.

Could you please send us a minimal Unity project that shows your issue? You can send it as a zip package to contact@esotericsoftware.com, briefly mentioning this forum thread URL so that we know the context. Then we can have a look at what's going wrong.

Well yes, it seemed to be. Specially because I´ve used this config when not in URP and it worked well.
It will be litle harsh to export a small project, but I ll try me best here.

But this shaders are improved in 4.0 correct? Maybe upgrade Spine and Unity Pluggins will solve it?

Yes, these shaders have been improved in 4.0 and 4.1. For the complete changes on the URP shaders you can see the github history here:

I just had a look, it might be that the following bugfix fixes your issue:
