Hi. Not sure if this is good subforum, but our game is being developed in Unity.
We're making a game with many characters (Spine animated) and multiple backgrounds (Spine animated). It got quite big till now. This is not a problem on Android, but iOS threats graphics differently.
I heard for example, that it changes all graphics to POT anyway, so it's best to export atlases as POT.
Also according to what our dev says, tinypng won't help here either.
Does anyone have some tips to reduce the iOS app size without losing too much quality? 😉
Tips not really related to Spine are also welcome.
That's a bit annoying that iOS apps are so much bigger than APK, yet the game has to look OK on iPad PRO to have a bigger chance of featuring on Appstore home page.
